Troy received her degree at the Colorado School for Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is also certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In addition, Troy is a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Colorado.

Troy is part of Craig Hospital's Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM) program. The CAM program combines the expertise of Colorado's top medical doctors and acupuncturists and applies this knowledge to Craig Hospital's most difficult cases. This complimentary approach is the first of its kind in Colorado and is being used as a model for other applications.
